Databasics are a long established direct and digital marketing agency based in London. I built their first website back in 2000, 10 years later we have a very successful working partnership.

The new site design is clean and light, giving focus to the newly written content, with plenty of detail about the companys services and in-depth case histories of previous work.

The website uses valid XHTML and CSS for structure and styling, with a touch of JQuery and PHP for the dynamic and interactive elements.

Fishbank

Project: website development and marketing management

Fishbank are London's leading home delivery service for high quality frozen fish.

Their new website is a fully featured online shop, I am also running an ongoing marketing campaign to support the brand.

The shop runs on PHP and uses the Opencart e-commerce framework, to which I added all of the design and styling. The site incorporates an extensive 'back end' for administration and management, with stock control and invoicing built into the framework.

MFC Photographic Services

Marianne Fraser-Cook is well known in the theatrical world for her hand finished photographic print work. In her field quality is everything, and when she decided that it was time to put her business online, showing the quality of her work was essential.

I took Marianne's graphic design and converted it into an XHTML framework, and then added in some JQuery plugins to run the intensive image gallery.

Flash driven slideshows lift the three main content pages, and a secure payment portal connects clients to her Paypal account.

The site utilises plenty of white space to give focus to the content and images.

The website for hotbox™, a revolutionary solution to contemporary office storage requirements, is a clean design showcasing the versatility of the product.

The white space and the white background focuses attention on the product details. Flash powers the slideshows.

Opus UK

Opus are a leading supplier of contemporary office furniture, with a long list of high profile clients.

I have been working with Opus for many years, this is the third website that I have built for them.

This time they wanted to refresh their web presence with a light, clean site to showcase their ranges of furniture and accessories, particularly the upscale Vitra range.

The site utilises plenty of white space to give focus to the content and images. There is a small amount of Flash and Javascript for the interactive and animated elements.

Zenbeat Records

Zenbeat are an independent record label with a portfolio of musicians and producers from the UK. As a new company they needed a very quick launch for the website, so we decided to build the site in 2 stages.

The basic site is a simple 3 pages with news, downloads and information. Stage 2 is currently under construction and is due for launch in July 2010. The layout will remain the same but we will be adding in a blog, a streaming media player (audio and video), a fan area and an online store.

Dr. Rizla DJ & Producer

Legendary DJ and producer Dr. Rizla needed a website to act as a distribution point for his podcasts and DJ sets, and to provide information on his activities.

The site is a simple one page construction, using JQuery for the interactive elements. and a touch of Flash for the animations.

Thai Travel Guide

This site is an automated resource for travellers to Thailand.

Built on the Wordpress framework, the site pulls in content using rss feeds. It has sections for articles and travel information, a flight and hotel booking page, and a shop powered by Amazon.

A revenue stream is generated from the embedded advertising.

Tube Xpress

Another site built using the Wordpress framework, Tube Xpress is a video clip resource featuring predominantly British comedy. RSS feeds pull in video content from resources across the web. Embedded advertising generates revenue from visitors.

DJ Ras Tuft

The last version of my personal site, now off line. My site focuses on my other activities as a musician, DJ , producer and artist. The site has heavy use of Flash for the music and video players. The colour scheme uses different shades of blue to reflect the Blues influences on my music.
